Funeral services for Coleman Brandon, age 78 of Fairfield will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Gowen-Smith Chapel in Shelbyville with Pastor Byran Ashe and Brother Ron Chilton officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and also on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Mr. Coleman Brandon was born in Beechgrove, Tennessee on Thursday, June 19, 1941 to the late Jess Thelma Brandon and Ethel Jane McCullough Brandon. On October 29, 1960 He married Margaret Lovell and they have shared fifty nine years together. Mr. Brandon was a block and brick mason, a farmer and a contract grower for Tyson foods for approximately thirty three years. He was a member of the Cattlemen's Association and a faithful member of New Hope Baptist church in Fairfield, Tennessee. He will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, and as a wonderful, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of Fairfield, two children: David Lee Brandon (Jeanna) of Bell Buckle, Lisa Kaye Brandon of Bell Buckle, two sisters: Betty Reed of Beechgrove, Tennessee and Doris Beard of Manchester, Tennessee. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Andrew David Brandon (Hannah) of Knoxville, Brandon Cole Perry of Longview, Washington, Annalise Sloane Perry of Shelbyville, Nicholas Craig Perry of Bell Buckle, And Garrison Hayden Brandon also of Bell Buckle. Mr. Brandon is survived by two great grandchildren: Julianna Morgan Brandon and Evelyn Snelling both of Knoxville Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings: Juanita Drake, Jessie Frank Brandon, Oscar Ray Brandon and Jane Tenpenny.
