Mrs. Carolyn Ann Davis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Davis, age 65, of Tullahoma, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Under the loving care and comfort of her family, NHC Tullahoma, and Hospice Compassus. Funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Tullahoma. The family will receive visitors from 12 noon until time-of-service Saturday at the funeral home. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband John Wayne Davis, her mother Emma Mae Foster Moorehead, her father Carol Foster, Sr., her brothers Walter Nance, Carl Foster, Carol Foster, Jr, Benjamin Foster, and her sister Niellen Foster. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her sister Mamie Ridley of Shelbyville, and sister, Melissa (Douglas) Bowen, Sr. of Tullahoma, her brother, James Earl Foster, of Shelbyville, an aunt, Altia Mostiller of Chattanooga, TN, and a host of nieces and nephews. Carolyn was born on March 8, 1957, in Huntsville, Alabama to Carol Foster, Sr., and Emma Mae Foster Moorehead. Carolyn loved to help and serve others. Carolyn was a believer in Christ and an active member of Shorter Chapel AME until she became ill. Carolyn loved shopping, cooking, and taking care of her many dogs. Carolyn was loved by all and will be deeply missed. The family would like to acknowledge and thank her devoted nieces, Lisa Harper (Murfreesboro) and Inessa Bowen (Tullahoma), sister-friends Gloria Gerrard (Tullahoma) and Shirley Norman (California), NHC Nursing Home, and Hospice Compassus. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
