William Douglas Campbell, son of the late Mabel “Frances” and James Douglas “Ruff House” Campbell was born September 27th, 1964 and unexpectedly departed this life on August 27th, 2020. He was a graduating member of Shelbyville Central High School Class of 1982. Douglas also attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he studied Computer Science, Information Technology. He was an avid reader, some of his favorite authors being Stephen King and Dean Koontz. “Doug” loved life. His kind spirit was felt by all that encountered him. Douglas always had a warm smile, a word of encouragement and a desire to help if he was able. Most recently he enjoyed working at the fruit stand and taking it easy. He is proceeded in death by, Brothers - Dennis Bernard Sparrow and Jimmy Campbell. Grandparents - Margaret & Harry Sparrow, Annie Mae & Gardner Smith, Sr. Uncles - Harry Sparrow Jr, James Wilson Sparrow and Fred Sparrow. Aunts - Verna Mae Hall and Nannie Lee Sims. He is survived in life by sons, Bryan Douglas Campbell (Shelbyville) and TySharn Thomas (Nashville). Sisters - Mildred Adams and Lois Ann Campbell (Shelbyville). Brother - Fredrick (Marilyn) Campbell (Nashville). Brother-Cousin - Darryl Jerome (Deanna) Trice (Shelbyville). Cousins – Tonya Williams and Estelle (Robert) Duff (Nashville). Grandsons - Jaiveon Clark Campbell and Breeyce Valentino Campbell (Shelbyville). Granddaughter - Varihanna Thomas (Nashville). Aunts – Carolyn (Joe) Lee and Wanda Williams (Shelbyville), Niece - Kristin Campbell (Nashville). Loving and devoted partner - Rhonda Sandoval (Shelbyville). A host of cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be 3 PM Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service Sunday at the funeral home. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
