Mr. William Brady Harris, age 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020, at his home under the loving care and comfort of his family and Hospice Compassus. Private graveside services will be Sunday at Beechgrove Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. In efforts to adhere to CDC guidelines, only ten people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. Visitors are welcome to sign the register book, obtain a memorial record, and view the body. The family will not be present. He was born August 1, 1945, in Shelbyville, to the late James Brady and Annie Henson Harris. William was retired from Eaton Corporation, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was most proud of his military service, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Cecil Harris, Doyle Harris, J.L. “Big Red” Harris, Carl Harris, and James E. Harris and sisters, Martha Bauldauf and Donnie Gore. Survivors include his wife of thirty eight years, Sharon Gordon Harris; daughters, Christy Warren, and her husband Steve, Vicky Baucom, and Patricia Butler, all of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Kip Warren, Benny Warren, Ronnie Joe Sudberry, Crystal Sudberry,and Lindsay Baucom; ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Harris, and his wife Kathleen, Gerald Harris, and Kenneth Harris a host of nieces and nephews. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with thee arrangements.
