Margaret Aline Majors, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away peacefully at her home in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, on January 14, 2024, at the age of 93. Born on November 26, 1930, in White County, Tennessee, Margaret's life was a testament to the power of nurturing and thoughtfulness. Margaret's journey began as the cherished daughter of James Robert Pinkston and Celia Nabns Tabores. She grew up imbued with the values of family and community that would become the hallmark of her life. Margaret's heart found its match in Sherman Seadeek, and together they built a life filled with joy and compassion until his passing. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son Gary Hatchett, her granddaughter Leslie Matthews, and her treasured parents and a beloved grandchild. Left to honor Margaret's legacy are her devoted children, son Donald Hatchett of Bell Buckle, and daughter Norma Gail Floyd of Shelbyville. Her love and lessons will live on through her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Each of them carries a piece of Margaret's spirit, woven into the fabric of their beings. Throughout her life, Margaret embraced the role of a homemaker with an unwavering dedication that went beyond the walls of her own home. She created an environment where everyone felt welcome, and her nurturing presence was a comforting constant to all who knew her.
